Bobbing for apples

"Bobbing for Apples" is the freebie for September @ Delightful Inspiration {from the heart}.

I used Copics to color the image and some apple paper I had. I cut out an apple from the paper and popped it up with a foam sticker. I followed the sketch @ Sketch n Stash and added a sentiment that I love!

I did a little "bobbing" when I was younger. Not an easy thing to do!

Cat in the Bag

August Free Stamp of the Month Challenge at Delightful Inspiration.

This months free image is "cat's out of the bag."

I am not a cat lover but I gotta admit, this kitty is adorable!

I colored her with Copics, then put Liquid Pearls on the white areas of her fur. For my background paper, I tried something new to me, that I found at The Kraft Journal.

(The 3 pieces of paper on the right are before gluing and cutting. The piece of paper on the left is what it looks like after.)

You cut strips of paper, glue them together, and then cut them in the opposite direction. It's hard for me to explain. You can check it out HERE. It was fun! Give it a try.

I used the sketch at Artful Delight.

The new image at Delightful Inspiration is called Sea Turtle Beach. It came with 3 images & 3 sentiments. It has been so cool here. A nice warm beach sounds wonderful!

Flower Pot Chick

This is the latest sketch @ i {heart} sketches. For my card I used the new freebie "Flower Pot Chick" from Delightful Inspiration Free stamp of the Month Challenge. I used some papers from an old SU! Paper Pad, colored & cut out some extra flowers & then added a little bling to them.
Also...I just downloaded a new Blog Background & I can't figure out how to get my blog title "feeling_scrappy" typed in the header! Can you tell me how? It's driving me crazy :) Thanks

i {heart} sketch #6 and "Spring Baskets"

Well, I got my laundry done, went to the grocery store and filled the car full of gas. I think I am ready for the big storm! It has been a while since we have had any significant snowfall around here. It may not end up being much of a storm but I have learned to always be prepared.
I received the February Free Stamp of the Month from Delightful Inspiration. It is actually 3 stamps this time! One is an Easter basket with eggs in it, the second is a Spring Basket with flowers in it and the third is a basket of shamrocks. I decided to use the Shamrock Basket & make some St. Patrick's Day cards.

I also used the latest sketch from i {heart} sketches.

i {heart} sketches #5

Here is the new Sketch @ i {heart} sketches.

When I first looked at it I thought, "Oh! Simple!" But after I looked at it closely, I saw how everything kind-of weeved in & out of each other. For instance, the top (horizontal) piece is under the circle on the left side, then crosses over the vertical piece & then over the circle. (Well, that's my take on it anyway)  How fun is that?!

I am not sure that I did it perfectly but I gotta say it was a challenge! I am starting to get stocked up again on cards. I like to have some on hand & my mother loves to send them to her friends.

Cupcake Lineup

I received this cute cupcake image from Delightful Inspiration for free! All I had to do is make a project with "Cupcake Lineup" & enter it on their blog. I also used the new sketch @ "I [heart] card sketches".

 

For my card I used some paper that I had stashed away. I colored the image with Copics & popped-up the frosting with some SU Dimensionals to give it....well...dimension. LOL The sentiment came with the cupcake image. Cute huh? Thanks for stopping!
