Welcome Spring!

I bet you can't guess what my favorite colors are?... Lately, I have been stuck on blue & green.
The challenge at The Pixie Cottage is a sketch &/or Spring. It seems like it's been a long winter. We're not out of the woods yet, but at least all the snow has finally melted, for now.
For my card, I used "Hope & Dream" from Designed2Delight Digital Stamps. I colored the image with Copic Markers & a white gel pen. I used the masking technique & sponged the clouds & water, patterned paper is from my stash, leaves punched with SU!'s Bird Punch, flowers are SU! Vintage Flowers, ( I added some gold glitter Puff Paint to the flowers for dimension), and printed "Welcome Spring!" on a piece of vellum. I really like this see-through ribbon. Some ribbon is hard for me to tie & make it look half-way decent. This ribbon is so forgiving. :)
This card reminds me of Ireland. When my sister & I were there, it was mid July but it felt like spring. Everything was so green, the weather was cool, and just a touch of fog. It was breath taking!

Daffodils- Free Stamp @ D2D

This is the new/free image from Designed2Delight. Don't you just love daffodils? I colored the flowers 2 times with markers. I cut one set out & popped them up with dimensionals. Then, I cut the whole thing out, tied a piece of purple & white gingham ribbon around the vase & double mounted it. The paper & sentiment, are from an old Paper Stack I have had for quite a while. The front cover is missing, so I can't tell you the Company. I like this sketch. It is real easy & I'm all about easy these days. I am taking a class right now & "Anatomy" is killing me! :) Pray for me....I really need it. Thanks for stopping.

The challenge @ Do You Stack Up?- (patterned papers), is still going on. Check it out. It's lots of fun! For my card, I used one of latest freebies from Baby Bud Designs. Since it is trying to snow here...again :-[ I thought I'd make a card to remind me of warmer days! Don't you love the sunglasses? It's a brad that I found in my stash.
