Irish Dancer

This is the new freebie @ Imagine That!
If you are have been playing along, you received 3 digi's this time!
Two dancing girls & a circle sentiment.
I made this card to send to my big sister. Six years ago, she took me with her to Ireland. It was a dream come true!
When we were in Dublin, she surprised me with tickets to see "Riverdance." It was awesome...no, it was WAY better than that! The show was in an beautiful old Opera House. No camera's allowed...darn. But I will remember it as long as I live :)
Here's the inside:

i {heart} sketch #6 and "Spring Baskets"

Well, I got my laundry done, went to the grocery store and filled the car full of gas. I think I am ready for the big storm! It has been a while since we have had any significant snowfall around here. It may not end up being much of a storm but I have learned to always be prepared.
I received the February Free Stamp of the Month from Delightful Inspiration. It is actually 3 stamps this time! One is an Easter basket with eggs in it, the second is a Spring Basket with flowers in it and the third is a basket of shamrocks. I decided to use the Shamrock Basket & make some St. Patrick's Day cards.

I also used the latest sketch from i {heart} sketches.

And here is my card using "Spring Baskets" from Delightful Inspiration (free stamp of the month)

Feelin' green

This is another version of "Lucky Bird" digi by Designed2Delight Digital Stamps. (This digital stamp is FREE!) I also wanted to enter the challenge @ "Do You Stack Up?" - #9 just green it! But, I posted my last card about 1 hour too early. :(
I just love this bird! I think maybe she ate too many shamrocks & her boots crack me up! I put some Crystal Effects on them again, to make 'em shiny. The "feelin' green" stamp, I picked up @ Hobby Lobby a while back. I colored the digi with Copic markers. Gotta love those Copics! They are expensive, but well worth it. The large clover on the bow, is the same one in the bird's mouth, only enlarged. I made a Scallop Card this time. I got the idea when I visited Angie's Blog, the other day.
Thanks for stopping by!

FYI:
Legend of Saint Patrick
Good St. Patrick travelled far, to teach God's Holy Word
And when he came to Erin's sod, a wondrous thing occurred
He plucked a shamrock from the earth and held it in His hand
To symbolise the Trinity that all might understand
The first leaf for the Father
And the second for the Son
The third leaf for the Holy Spirit
All three of them in one.

Lucky Bird

I am so excited to be a Guest this week at Designed2Delight Digital Stamps! Don't you love this little bird? I especially love her boots. I put some Crystal Effects on them, so they're waterproof! :) This image will be available this Friday for anyone to grab. If you play along, next week's free digi will come in your email!
For my card, I printed out 2 pictures of "Lucky" & colored one of them with markers. The other one, I cut out & laid over top, to protect it when I sponged the clouds on. To make the clouds, I punched a scallop circle & used some light blue & dark blue ink. I printed off extra clover from the bird's mouth & glued them around in different places. The sentiment, "Lucky You...and lucky me for knowing you." is from SU!
Thanks for stopping!

The Pixie Cottage Challenge #57- Sketch &/or Embossing

The challenge @ The Pixie Cottage is a sketch &/or embossing. I used "Spring Kaela" by Designed2Delight. I colored her with my new Copic Markers. I could only afford a few but I am loving them! I tried to follow the sketch & I embossed the papers using "Polka Dots" & "Vintage Wallpaper" embossing Folders by SU!
I made the triangle background piece, by cutting the paper 2 times with SU!'s Top Note Die. I know she is named "Kaela" but for my St. Patrick's Day card, her name is "Bridget". ;)
