Imagine That #6

This is the Free image I received the other day from Imagine That! Progressive Challenge Blog.
When I first saw this Rose, I thought of some SU! paper that I had. I tried to match the color but didn't have the right markers. So, I had to color my Rose a little darker than I would like. But I think it looks pretty good anyway. If you play along, you would have received the Rose & 4 with different sentiments.

You Sparkle

This is a free image I picked up at Bugaboo Stamps. The sentiment I saw somewhere & thought it was some great advice. "Don't let anyone dull your sparkle."
Have you seen the new TV ad by Dove? Wow...something to think about. We really are too hard on ourselves.
I colored the Princess image with Copics &  added some diamonds all over.

...here kitty kitty

A friend of mine from work, is having a birthday soon. She LOVES cats. I am not a cat lover, so I didn't have any digi's that included a cat. I have been participating in the Sketch Challenges at i {heart} sketches & each time you enter your card in their Challenge, you receive a $1 voucher to use at the Store. I purchased this digi Kitten Flower Pot this morning from the Store using a few vouchers I had saved. I think it is a perfect image for her card and I think she will love it!

Bella & Skipper

Please scroll down for my Guest Designer Post, "Skipper's Pad"

This is the latest freebie from Imagine That!, called "Bella & Skipper". Aren't they adorable?
For my card I used a sketch @ Catch The Bug Challenge Blog. The papers I used are SU!, "Beyond The Garden".
This was fun to color so I made another one...

I hand stitched around this one & added some rick-rack. I colored with Copics & made a flower using a scalloped punch. I also used my scalloped punch to make the clouds in the background. The sentiment I printed on my computer says, "You are beautiful". The papers are from the same pack, "Beyond The Garden".

Skipper's Pad & matching paper

I am so excited! I was asked to be a Guest Designer for Imagine That! Challenge Blog I got to use "Skipper's Pad" (colored) & Frog in My Pocket, matching digi Paper! Using a colored digi was wonderful! It sure made this project come together fast!
I had never used digi paper packs & now I am hooked! I printed out a smaller version of "Skipper's Pad" & cut out the little frog & made a little charm for my gift bag.
I used 4 different papers from the digi pack. (I sometimes have a heck of a time finding papers in my stash that go together.)
Here's the inside of my card.

Bubbly Birthday

Can you think of a better way to spend part of your birthday? Every once in a while I love to pamper myself with a little ME time. A bubble bath, manicure & pedicure and then curl up on the couch in my favorite sweats...aww...doesn't get better than that!
For my card I used "Ruby Bubble Trouble" by Bugaboo Digi Stamps. Colored it with Copics & used a SU! sentiment, "It's your day!".
