snowman bag

(Top 3 Winner!)
The challenge @ Stampin' Celebration this week, is to use red, brown & white to make your project. I LOVE those colors. I took a SU! scalloped paper bag, ran a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock through my Big Shot with the Polka Dot Textured Impressions Folder & tied a piece of Dark Brown & white ribbon around it. I used the "More The Merrier" stamp set on white cardstock & mounted it on a piece of Chocolate Chip cardstock. I added some Dazzling Diamonds Glitter & used my SU! markers. Inside the bag is a couple of chocolate mint candy canes & some Chex Cereal Mix that I made.
8 cups Chex cereal
1 cup cashews
1 bag Holiday M&M's
1 pkg vanilla almond bark melted
Mix well to coat. Spread out on waxed paper to cool. Break into bite size chunks. Store in air-tight container.

Let's Face It Friday's- Paper Bag Challenge

Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge (click HERE) is to use a paper bag & create a winter-inspired project. I purchased a set of these stamps about a week ago, because I have a terrible time drawing faces! They were all so cute, I had a hard time choosing which ones to get!
Anyway, here is my project. I must have sat & stared at that little lunch sack for an hour before I could come up with an idea! Don't you hate it when that happens? I cut about 3 or 4 inches of the top of the sack. I got the idea for the snowman @ Rose's World.
snowman- 1-3/4" & 2-1/2" circle punch
Hat- Designer Label punch, cut in half
Word Window, Itty Bitty Flower, 2-Step Bird punch (leaves)
Scarf- 1 & 1/2 Modern Label punch, 1/2" circle
Buttons- 1/2" circle
Arms- snowflake punch
Face- Peachy Keen Snow Bitty Faces
The handle on the bag, I made by gluing a piece of SU! Robin Hood Red Striped Grosgrain Ribbon onto a piece of heavy cardboard. I glued the handle to the bag & attached Designer Buttons on with glue dots.

Thanks for stopping!

FYI: I have blog candy on a previous post = "Tis the Season For Giving".
