Hard Hat Area

Life can be a "hard hat area" sometimes. I slipped and fell down yesterday and can hardly move today. I don't bounce like I used to!
I made this card for the Hambo Hoedown Challenge. I used Carpenter, this week's free image. It came with several cute sentiments.
I colored him with Copics and used 3 different patterned papers. When I colored his shirt, I tried to copy the green/blue paper.
The Challenge at Hambo Hoedown is to create a project that uses something that a Carpenter would use. I used some stickers that I had.

Speeding by

This is the latest FREE image from Imagine That! Progressive Challenge. It's fun to color & perfect for a boy's birthday, which is sometimes hard to do. If you are like me, most of my stamps are girly. If you started from the beginning, this digi stamp set was emailed to you for free. But...the Challenge owner has changed the rules this month & anyone can jump in for free!
Also...I changed my Blog background yesterday & I can't figure out how to get my blog title "feeling_scrappy" to show up in the "header" box at the top of my blog page. Got any suggestions?

Dude Time Doodles Challenge-Sketch

My son has a dog named "Bo". They are quite the pair! Bo has a slight case of separation anxiety & sometimes leaves little "presents" around the house when Casey is gone.
Casey's birthday is coming up & I wanted to make him a card. Here it is. Now, I need to go scoop some snow...ug. Yep, it's snowing again. Maybe all those Spring cards I have been making, put a hex over my house. :)
Digi- "dog walk" by the talented Kenny K designs (it's free!)
paper- Pyrus Paper Pad
collar embelli- Karen Foster Designs
dog biscuit stickers- Mrs. Grossman's

Dude Time Doodles Sketch Challenge

(Top 3 Winner of jars of paint from Creative Inspirations!)
Dude Time Doodles Challenge Blog has a sketch this week. Oh my goodness...I have had a terrible time with this. It took me for-ev-er to get the right papers to do the sketch. And now, I can't think of a sentiment to go with it! Guess I will have to enter it as- is. The image I picked up @ Free Digital Stamps, a while back. That was before I started trying to keep track of who the Artist's were. So, I can't tell you who drew it. If you can think of a sentiment, I'd really like it if you'd leave me a comment & help me out, so I can finish this card. I could leave it plain but it would be fun if it had a witty sentiment. It has to be clean! My Mother reads my blog....Hi Mom!
Since I live where I do, I put a little "can of chew" wear-mark on one of the pockets. :-{

Dude Time Doodles Challenge

I found this very cool blog! They have lots of inspiration ( & a freebie), for making cards for the men in your life. I know, I know, I don't have one, but I do have a son! :) It took all I had, not put a bow on this card! ...Or a button...or some jewelry... I used my markers, pencils, a mini clip, brads & made a menu on my PrintShop program. It says, Cheeseburger $3, Onion Rings $1.50, Letting your friend pay the bill...Priceless!
It's a fun blog. It will make you smile! click here >Dude Time Doodles Challenge.

Hot Dog

I found this free digi stamp on Bird's Blog. I thought it would be perfect to use to make my Grandson's Birthday card. I used SU! markers & I think it turned out good. I have always enjoyed coloring, even as an adult. I am so glad it's ok now days, for a grown woman to sit in her basement & color.:)
