Another Pail of Flowers!

I just really like this new image Pail Of Flowers by Faith @ Designed2Delight! I think this is my 3rd card using it. :) Right now it is free to everyone! Check it out HERE.
For the background on my card, I punched a bunch of Scalloped Squares & glued them onto my 5-1/2 x 4" card. Then I ran it through my Big Shot with an embossing folder. I colored the image with Copics & paper-pieced the flowers & quilt. My friend Debbie often adds her home-made crocheted flowers to her cards. I got the crazy idea one day, that I would learn how to make some too! I bought a book & gave it a try. Well, it hasn't quite worked out for me...I had to buy this crocheted flower, but I did find a great use for the book! I tore a piece from a page, inked it & attached it to my card! Can you see it? lol

  5. LOL!!!! That is too funny, when I was looking at your card last night, I was trying to get a closer look a the page you tore, wondering what it was from. lol! I'm still laughing. :) This card is so pretty! I love the "shabby chicness" about it. Beautiful colors, too!

  6. Bridget - I can't crochet either so I feel your pain! I LOVE how you recycled the book tho!

I asked my sister to make me a few flowers (she can crochet) but I got 1 out of her :)

    Very pretty card.

  8. You made me LOL! :) used the book for ripping pages! :D tee hee.

Great card, lots of gorgeous texture and details, and dont worry about the crochet. I was taught to do that as a child, my mum used to make lacy doileys and stuff, but its not something I feel I need to be doing ;)
