Designed2Delight - Mother's Day Weekend BLOG HOP!

Hi! and Welcome to Designed2Delight's
Mother's Day Weekend HOP!

If you came here from Designed2Delight, then you're on the right track! If not...
Be sure to start this Hop @ Designed2Delight! You will need to read all the rules & details! Click HERE to go there.

For my project I used the "Lucky Bird" digital stamp. I trimmed off the legs & printed it off twice (Mom & baby bird). Faith has quite a few bird digis in her shop, that could be used for a project like this. I used my Big Shot & Mini Milk Carton Die (SU!) to make the birdhouse. If you don't have either one of these toys in your craft corner, not to worry! There is a site called  "Mirkwood Designs" that has a free Milk Carton template for you to use. I used a 1-1/4" circle punch in the front of my carton. Inside is some shredded paper & a couple of candy eggs.

Here's a few more details:
birdhouse- Mini Milk Carton
leaves- 2 Step Bird punch (SU!)
Copics
ribbon- Robert Stanley Collection
Roof:
cardstock- 3-3/4" x 2-1/2"
shingles- 3/4" circle punch
1/2" Library Clip (SU!) (holding roof on carton)

I hope I have inspired you to make your own Birdhouse! Be sure to leave me a comment here on this post! I will be giving away, the digital stamp "Spreading Sweetness" by Designed2Delight, to one lucky commenter! You have until midnight May 8th (Central Time) to enter. Check back @ Designed2Delight on Monday, for a full list of winners!
Your next stop is Debbie S.! Click HERE to go there. If you get lost along the way, go back to Designed2Delight for the Hop List.
Thanks for stoppin' & keep Hoppin' !   *Bridget :-)
