The Challenge @ The Stamp Fairy is to make a Shaker Card. I had never made one before so, I looked it up on the internet. Unfortunately all the supplies that it calls for, I don't have. :( I did have a "treat cup" by SU! so that is what I used. I hope this qualifies for the challenge.
For my card I used a free image from The Stamp Fairy. Click HERE to check out their store & get some freebies! I colored the bunny with Copics & then punched a portion out with a 1-3/4" circle punch. I added some little chocolate sprinkles, that you would use for cake decorating. I thought they looked like the flower centers on the digi. But up-close, they sure look like mouse droppings! Hey, now there's an idea...;)
I plan on giving this to my Daughter-in-law for Mother's Day. I hope she likes it.
Paper: Basic Grey "Wisteria"
Sentiment: "Happy Greetings" set by SU!
Leaves- "2 Step Bird Punch" by SU!

Think you've done a great job with your first shaker. I'd not made one before either and they are a bit fiddly. Love your image and the card is lovely. Annette xx (Stamp Fairy DT)
ReplyDeleteWell I got a laugh about the mouse droppings Bridget - too funny! Your card is simply perfect for the shaker challenge and how clever your use of the treat cup - it almost looks like the "spotlight" technique. The coloring of this dear little bunny is terrific too. Love that DP you used - it's really perfect for your card. Thanks for sharing this wonderful card with us at StampFairy!
