Going Buggy!

The Challenge @ Designed2Delight is Going Buggy! Use a bug somewhere on your project.
For my project, I used the image Garden Party by Faith @ Designed2Delight. I didn't realize, when I took this picture, that you can hardly see the bumble bee! I would retake the pic but I already sent them off to my Mom. I made about 10 of these, for her to give to her friends. My Mom is 84 & still plays golf twice a week!
I made a matchbook & altered it a bit. I punched a couple holes for the tees to set in. I added a little golf ball by punching a 1/2" circle & using a polka dot embossing folder. Before gluing the golf balls down, I flipped them over, so that inverted side of the polka dots is showing. I also inked the edges slightly in green.
A very easy, inexpensive & thoughtful gift.
Be sure to check out Designed2Delight for more inspiration!
Thanks for stopping!  b.

  1. This is a wonderful idea, Bridget! It's one amazing thing creativity can do-give a simple gift with wonderful packaging! I'm sure your mom's friends would be thrilled with these gifts. : )
