"Card Ideas" Challenge

The challenge @ Card Ideas, is to CASE (Copy And Share Everything) a Designed2Delight DT card. Ever since I saw a card made by Debbie Fisher, I wanted to make one similar. She used a page from an old library book in the background. I loved that idea! You can go see it HERE. She also sewed around the edge with her sewing machine. I loved that too! But, when I came back to reality, I reminded myself that I can't sew...darn. So, instead I stitched around the edge with a white gel pen. She also used 3 small vintage buttons for embellishment ; I used 3 flower brads. The Designed2Delight image that she used was Kitten's Big Heart, patterned paper from Cosmo Cricket's Earth Love Line & Nestibilities Dies; I used Spring Kaela (plain), patterned paper from a Curio Paper Pad & cut them with my paper trimmer. Debbie tied a bow across the middle of her card with a solid color piece of ribbon; I used brown gingham. The sentiment inside says, "Happy Birthday girl friend!
A fun challenge! Click on Card Ideas, at the beginning of this post, to get more info.
I am also entering this @ "do you stack up?" (anything goes)
