grandkids & coloring

My Grand children spent a good part of the day with me in my craft room. They love to come & play with Grandma. I think they find it amusing that I love to color! Our local grocery store is having a coloring contest. I encouraged them to enter & told them they could even use my beloved pencils & markers.
For Ryan's picture, I printed the digi "Painting Eggs" by Designed2Delight. I showed Ryan how to use colored pencils & Gamsol. He was amazed & so pleased with his work!
Katie loves markers! I printed a 8 x 10 of the "Spring Greetings" digi by Designed2Delight. She colored it, sponged the edges & added some Puff Paint to the little chick.
I enjoy having my grand kids over, even though they tend to wear me out.  We had a great time!

  1. LOVE it!!! I have never tried to print so large, but I do have the resolution really high so that it's possible to do something like this. So cool! Their coloring is awesome!

  3. That is so cute!!! My oldest granddaughter ALWAYS has to play on my Cricut and use my punches when she is here. I may have to try something like that the next time they stop by : )
