My husband had a saying for everything! In fact, I have a little notebook full of things he used to say all the time. Just when I think I have written them all down, I remember another. Since our Grandchildren are so young, they may not remember him when they get older. I hope this little book gives them a connection to their wise "Grandpa Mow."
Whenever he spoke about someone that he thought highly of, he would call them "a good egg." Today, this is my good egg. This digi & sentiment, "Eggstra Pretty" was a freebie from Crafting With Deedee's Digis, that I received just for participating in their weekly challenge. Isn't is perfect! So simple & beautiful.
To make my card, I used inspiration from Darsie, one of their talented DT's.
paper- SU! Paisley Petals
leaves- Sizzlits "little leaves"
brad- "Antique Brads" SU!
Crystal Effects, jewelry piece from my stash, Scallop Edge punch, Prima flowers (sponged with ink pads), SU! markers & embossing folder.
I am entering my card @:
Happy Monday Challenge- Easter
Creative Cowgirls- Springtime & Rainy Days
Digis With Attitude- Easter
The Crafty Pad- Spring is in the air
One Crazy Stamper- flowers
Such a great idea to write down your husbands adages. A great memorial to his wise words.
